Task 30 – Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar (Fitchburg, MA)

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings last night with some buddies after a good workout at gym. We got lucky when we discovered that Thursday night is 60¢ Boneless Wings Night.  

The interior is broken into two sections; a bar and a dining room. The dining room is just one big room with a row of large booths and then a sea of tables. The whole place is covered in large TV’s and have just about every sport playing.

I ordered 12 Honey BBQ boneless wings. The wings are served in a paper bowl and were just kind of dumped on the table. They were barely coated in honey BBQ and didn’t look overly appealing. They tasted similarly to how they looked. They lacked any significant flavor and were a bit dry.

If you’re looking to get together with some friends for a beer and the game they I’d recommend this place but if you’re looking for quality wings that will wow you then drive on bye, you won’t find it here.

I have heard from several people that Lakeside Bar & Grille was pretty good and decided to check it out. I would categorize this as one of those hidden little gems. I knew where it was because it had previously been a Quizno's and I am often in the same plaza at the Petco or Trader Joes.

It has a bar like atmosphere with high top tables and is dark and intimate.  The menu is primarily burgers, sandwiches and the usual pub style food but on the back you can  find full entrée style food.

I picked Veal Picatta with linguine. Veal is one of those things you either get perfect or it's a waste of good meat. I can say they scored with their version. The sautéed veal was tender and melted in my mouth. The garlic lemon sauce was just right and the capers add just the right amount of saltiness to finish the dish of perfectly.

My dining partner had Pam's Favorite with Chicken over linguine. I am not a fan of banana peppers personally but it smelled and looked delicious.  Like the veal picatta the portion was generous and he devoured the whole meal and he usually leaves a little behind.

I can't wait to return and try something different.

After checking out SkyDive Pepperell and reading 5-star review after 5-star review I decided to go for it. So yesterday I purchased a Groupon to SkyDive from Groupon. 

Don't ask me what I was thinking when I agreed to jump from a plane 13K feet in the air. All I can say is that I am very adventerous and I am going to hopefully have a blast. I won't be alone thankfully a bunch of freinds and family are going to jump with me and those that don't will be on the ground cheering us on. Can't Wait.
